Night Safari

Circa '99's baby love turns one today!  Just like our other batchmates' children, I am glad to be part of this little darling's milestones from christening to birthday/s.  It seems like it was only yesterday that I touched Charmagne's womb just before she gives birth to Baby Mathea and now, Mathea's already one.  It's just so amazing how time flies soooo fast again!

Mathea's advanced birthday party was held last night at Mayflower Glass Garden.  It has a safari-inspired theme with me camouflaging in zebra print.  Thanks to Ruth for my outfit of the night!  I finally squeezed into this one after the diet and the work-out to loose the pounds I gained last summer.

As we were about to eat, a surprise suddenly popped out from the door!  The batchmate I haven't seen since college unexpectedly showed up.  Ronie Mae came all the way fresh from Hong Kong!

It was great catching up with Amy after a very long time!  Her baby was such a darling, too.  Baby Shanica's all smiles to all of us!  Though time was brief, the night was well-spent.  Thanks to Alex and Meg for celebrating their unica hija's 1st birthday with us! :)

And thanks to my sissy, June Ann for accompanying me since Quennie, Kristine Mae, and the rest of the circa didn't make it to the party!

When mommies are friends, babies become automatically friends!  So to the baby who always garners the most likes in Facebook, happy happy birthday!  May you be healthy always, Baby Mathea and grow up as an obedient girl for Dad and Mom to be happy.  Stay pretty, darling! :)

A Sunday Aftie Fair

Another friend's child turns a year older today and I'm greatly honored to have had celebrated with this little cutie from christening to birthdays!  Time just flies so fast and Baby Anderson turns two today! :)

It was a joint birthday celebration with his cousin, Nathaniel and the party was carnival-inspired at Bluewaves Resort!  Vibrant colors, fun games, tons of prizes, and jolly nursery rhymes at the background - kids were truly delighted with the fair!

Aside from them, Atsi Ann and I also enjoyed the party soooo much that we felt like kids again!  Popcorn, cotton candy, hotdog, and ice cream - it's been a while not having these goodies!

The party was fun, fun, fun and bumping into people that I also haven't seen in a while made it even more fun!  (I just hadn't taken photos with all of 'em)

Thank you, Oliver and Arbie for the invites!  God bless you and your whole family.  Many more birthdays to come for Baby Anderson! :)

Jan Philippe's First Birthday

My niece, Janine gave birth to a healthy baby boy last year which made me into an instant grandma.  Grandma?  As young as I a grandma?  Yes, I am! In Philippine setting, close family ties are a number one priority wherein you get to bond with a big family.  It is evident when somebody gets to be your grandaunt if she is the aunt of your cousin's mother.  Now that's really confusing.  Well, Jan Philippe is my first degree cousin's grandson that's why I happen to become JP's grandma!  Whew!  What kind of logic is this in the world?!!!

Anyway, we celebrated JP's first birthday yesterday.  We thank God for giving him to us - a truly great blessing who warms our hearts!
With the effort of everybody, we had made his first birthday a very memorable one.  Thanks to Lolo Jun and Lola Gearly for the bountiful table and for Lolo Uncle Rene and Lolo Uncle Dodong for helping out in the kitchen!
Thanks to Lolo Uncle Jolly and Lola Auntie Percy for the very artistic and sumptuous sailboat cake!
Thanks to Ninang Maricel for the party giveaways, balloons, and for facilitating the children's party!
Every child enjoyed the party so much that also JP cheered for them as they were competing in the parlor games!
And thank you so much, Mommy Janine for all the effort in putting up my party, for bringing me into this world, and for all the love you give me!

Party supplies and balloons are all available at Fascino!  Visit us today for fun party packages at Gomez St., Ozamis City (beside Mom's Sweet Delight, across Kinny's Bakeshop).
