Singko Mo, E-Regalo Mo

Praise God there ain't no typhoon this year!  Thank God there ain't no fatalities to be aided so Fascino's project for this year is for kids' joy!  As we launched our project last month, balloon orders kept coming thus making our 50 days of Christmas fruitful.  We didn't expect to have collected as much P5 coins for every dozen of balloons ordered at the store.  Aside from that, some customers/friends were also so generous to share their coins to our piggy bank.  So everything was made possible.  A party was thrown to the kids of Brgy. Bongbong Happy Church outreach and gifts were given to each and every child.  We had celebrated a very bountiful Christmas last week and this came into realization because of all of you.  Now here are some pics of the joy the kids experienced as our way of saying, "Thank you, thank you, ang babait ninyo!" :)

Parlor games were played and winners were given prizes.

A magic show was performed by Mr. Clown which amazes the kids so much!

Playtime with Bugs Bunny was a lot of fun time!

Now here comes the food and the gifts!

It's not only the kids who enjoyed but also the adults as well.

Thank you so much to my Singko Mo, E-Regalo Mo army for supporting this project all the way!  Thanks to Papa, Mama, Ep2x, and Laling.  To our cousin, Rio and niece Ella.  And of course, to Fascino's stockholders (hehehe) Annalyn, Christ, Alvite and Jing2x.  Thank you, thank you for sharing your time, talent, and effort to Fascino by Maria Rosalia!

And to you my dear blog readers and loyal customers, a big THANK YOU to all of you and 'till our next project, Fascinofiers! :)

5 5 5

5 is for quintessence.  5 is the number of Islam.  5 is greater than four.  And 5 is the number of the day because today is November 5 bringing in high 5 of good tides!  First and foremost, today marks the launching of my ever favorite blogger, Patty Laurel's newly-dressed website.  So if you want to get good vibes for happy lives, do waste your time with her at www.pattylaurel.com.  To my idol Patty, more power!  You're always an inspiration to many.  I'm looking forward to read and see more of your adventures with your hubby, Patrick Filart! :)

Second, today is 50 days to Christmas!  Yepey!!!  It's now start of the season to be jolly!!!  So with this, I am also launching a new project for the little community me and my family are supporting at Brgy. Bongbong, Ozamiz City.  In cooperation with Fascino Body Essentials, we are naming this project Singko Mo, E-Regalo Mo wherein for every dozen of balloons ordered at Fascino Store, you will be able to donate 5 pesos to the said community.  Proceeds of this fund-raising project will be used to let the children of this community experience a happier Christmas.  We envision to give them a Christmas party with lots of food, games, and gifts!  Wouldn't it be great to share a little monetarily and give big joy heartily?  But let me have this clear with you.  Prices of our balloons remain the same.  There are no add-ons for we will only be getting a portion of it for kids' joy

So let's start the ball rolling!  Starting today up to December 25, we're gonna have 50 days of Christmas through Singko Mo, E-Regalo Mo!  Your 5 pesos will definitely go a loooong way.

Now that's my 5 5 5!  5 for 50 days.  5 for November 5.  And 5 for 5 pesos that when saved up would become bigger and make every child smile! :)

You may look up the following blog entries for our little community's story:

*Prices for every dozen of balloons are still P180 for assorted colors and P190 for choice of color.

Hagardo Versoza Days!

And I'm back on track!  After almost a week, here I am writing again.  Sorry for the delayed updates, guys but I was just suuuper busy (as always)!  Since it's the end of another semester, I've been busy with grades and clearance requirements in school that until now I haven't finished yet.  And since it is also the third week of October which marks a very special celebration for Fernandez-Zacal Learning Center, Inc. (FZLC), I've been busy blowing up balloons at Fascino!  Then such busyness gives me my "Hagardo Versoza" days!

In social media, "Hagardo Versoza" had become an expression and hashtag for haggard face which is named after the then hunk actor Gardo Versoza (Machete).  Now here are our haggard faces for this week!

Hagardo Versoza Day 1! 10 dozens down, 42 more to go. Aja!
Hagardo Versoza Day 2! 24 more to go!!! Kryptonite please....
Hagardo Versoza Day 3! And we're done! Thank you so much, Lord for the strength!
Though my "kryptonite" haven't checked on me this week, it's OK 'coz I still know that he's still watching me.  Ayeeee!!!!

Only a quarter of the balloons to fill City Gym for tomorrow's event!

Happy 3rd, Fernandez-Zacal Learning Center, Inc.! More years to come!!!!

Planning for a Make-Over

Four years and counting.....  My baby Fascino had turned four years old last August 5, 2013!  Sad to say, I wasn't able to visit my baby that day and I wasn't able to celebrate its birthday due to some inevitable circumstances.  So as a way to make it up for my baby, I'm planning for a huge store make-over!

Since we're already into kids' party supplies, I would like my shop to become more kid-friendly.  I would love it to look like a colorful candy that is so mouth-watering and pleasing to the eyes.  So now, I'd just like to share some of the photos I had scoured over the net for inspiration and concept for my baby's new look!

But the problem is, I'm not really into construction thingy.  Who will help me out with this?  Oh, I summon the creative side of me!  I really don't have any idea on how to start this out.  Fairy godmother, do bring magic in transforming my shop into a Hansel and Gretel Candy House!
Fascino now specializes on all baptism and birthday party needs!  We accept order for invitation, giveaways, balloons, cakes, etc.  Name it and we have it! :)  Take a look at our party packages here or visit us at Gomez St., Ozamis City (beside Mom's Sweet Delight, across Kinny's Bakeshop)! :)

Thursday Tidbits: How to Organize Your Precious Blings

Thursday Tidbits puts meaning into life's littlest issues.

With the lavish number of blings I have collected over the years, they are just scattered everywhere and got mixed up with other things.  It takes me a lot of time and effort in finding the right accessories for my outfit of the day.  And when I find them, it takes  me even more time in untangling everything!  They are just too cluttered which pisses me off every time I dress up!

Luckily, I found some organizing tools that I'm also gonna share with you, my fashionista blog readers.  Because if you started dressing up with a sour mood, you may carry that on for the whole day.  And you don't wanna ruin your every day, right?  So, here goes my list:

Organizer #1 Thumb Tacks
Tiny and simple thumb tacks are always handy.  You can use 'em anywhere, anytime without the fuss!  So who would have thought that these minute and humble dudes can do some organizing wonders?  Here are evidences that I had use 'em in hanging my necklaces and tokens from my friends and  students:
Organizer #2 Hooks Hanger
Hooks hanger can easily be purchased in department stores and hardwares.  All you have to do is just to install  it on the wall and hang your blings right away!

Organizer #3 Accessories Organizers
It's a great thing there are accessories organizers!  They are very helpful in carrying all your girly stuffs!  They have transparent pouches great for keeping your bracelets, bangles, dangling earrings, rings, brooches, and even your tiny earrings.  They come in various sizes and designed with holders back-to-back that utilizes every area of the organizer!  Now you don't have to worry where to find which anymore for you can easily locate your blings with just one look.

Monday Matters: Prom Quick Tips (for Girls Only)

Monday Matters is dedicated to all things that matter.

Walking down the red carpet, dressing like a princess, dancing with your prince charming - just mere childhood fairy tale fantasies now coming to life as prom is now fast approaching!  Prom or promenade is a formal gathering of third year and fourth year high school students.  It is a tradition usually held by the end of every school year for the purpose of saying goodbye to the seniors and welcoming the juniors to take over.

On the other hand, prom also teaches students how to grace social events.  It is a once-in-a-lifetime occasion wherein every girl must don her best and be her best.  So here are some tips to all my excited girl students out there!

The Dress.  The dress plays the most important role in promenading.  Apart from deciding on what design and fabric to choose, pick the dress that best suits your personality.  If you're the prim and proper type, get something that is not too loud.  By saying loud, do away with showing much skin for you might not be comfortable with it.  If you're the fashionista type, make a statement by getting something of haute couture-class!  And there's no one else in town who could do that than Victor "Boyboy" Bersales Tusing of Versalez Creations
From L to R:  Carmel Theresa Lim, Gussie Yvonne Dolloso, and Darlene Jane Cabataña
The Shoes.  Next to prom dress, the shoes must be taken into much consideration.  Could it be Manolo, Louboutin, or Choo....  Nah, I'm just talking nonsense here.  Yes, they are luxurious shoes, but life is so short.  Go, buy that shoes!  (Naks naman, nagsalita ang can-afford!  Hehe)  Anyway, we're not Taylor Swift or Demi Lovato here.  Some shoes from our local shops would do.  What's important is, you can walk into 'em.  Practice walking and sashaying in those shoes so you won't trip over 'em and lose your poise.
World-Class and Elegant Yet Affordable Philippine-Made Shoes
The Accessories.  To glam up, accessorize appropriately.  When I say appropriately, do not overdo things.  If you already have chandelier earrings, do not wear a necklace anymore.  And if you already got a chunky necklace, do not wear earrings at all!  Just keep it simple and sweet.  Complement your accessories with your dress and shoes because

"the power of accessory is the ability to shape and transform any look". - Molly Sims of Project Accessory
Chandelier Earrings of Fascino
The Hair and Make-Up.  The final touch-up is the hair and make-up.  Request your make-up artist for something not too mature.  On actual prom night, you don't want not to be recognized by your peers.  So just sheer make-up will do - a little of this, a little of that.  Flaunt your assets by enhancing what is essential like if you've already got tantalizing eyes, just put on a little eye shadow to show them off.  And there's only one Marvel Deromol who could bring out the beauty in you!
June Ann Olandesca and Cherry Mae Paran
The Escort.  Plenty of us couldn't choose our dashing prince.  But for those who'll ever get a chance to do so, pick someone who has the charisma or X-factor because this is an added bonus to your get-up.  He might not be some Coco Martin or Piolo Pascual but make sure that he can back you up the whole night through.
From L to R:  Jerry Kendrix Dolloso, Raphael Loreto, Michael Uy, and Al-Shariff Lim
There you have it!  I hope this will come in handy to you, girls.  Now be prepared to summon the spirits of Anne Curtis and Georgina Wilson and be your own goddess!  Prep up for that million photos waiting to be taken!
